Privacy Policy
Scott Noble Digital Services has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate my commitment to privacy. The following discloses the type of information I may hold, what is done with it and what Third Parties I use.
Information collected
This website has two forms, a Contact form and a Newsletter sign-up form.
Contact Form
The contact form is used to allow existing or new customers to contact me. This form collects your name and Email address. The data is passed to me from Squarespace who host the website. Squarespace does not store this data. The data is passed to me via Email. The only place this information is stored is in my list of contacts to use for communication purposes. This data is not shared with any other parties.
Newsletter sign-up
The sign-up form is used for customers or non-customers to sign up to receive any Email Newsletters I issue. These newsletters are used to:
- provide general updates that are happening in the digital industry
- any trends
- hints or tips on website development
- updates on my own business
- any offers I may have
The information collected on this form is First name, Surname and Email address.
To issue the Newsletter I use a Third Party service called Mailchimp. Mailchimp acts as my Data Processor and therefore stores this data on my behalf. I have signed up and agreed to their terms as part of this. Read Mailchimp's Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics
To monitor usage of the site and to make continual improvements I use Google Analytics. This service does not store any identifiable information about you but it does use IP address information to help track visitors. To track usage it uses Cookies. See the section on Cookies below for more information. Read Google Analytics Privacy Policy.
Squarespace
This website is built and hosted using Squarespace. Squarespace also has analytics data, but like Google Analytics, it does not store personal data, only IP Address information. Read Squarespace’s Privacy Policy (effective 14th May 2018)
My role as a Data Processor
A data processor, as defined by the General Data Protection Regulations is someone who processes data on behalf of a Data Controller.
For some clients I will undertake to help with Email Marketing campaigns. For this reason, I have access to the data belonging to my clients. This is stored on Mailchimp who act as the sub Data Processor in this instance and is covered by their own Privacy Notice (see above).
I also manage websites on behalf of clients, making suggestions and undertaking updates and amendments. In some cases this involves having Administrative rights. This in turn means I have access to any E-Commerce transactions that have taken place and therefore access to customer data that belongs to my client.
In both cases I do not share any of this data with any other Third Parties. And on request from clients I can be removed from this.
Data Requests
If you would like to know what data I hold on you and how this data is used, please email privacy@noblescott.co.uk I will respond to this request within 14 working days of the date of the request.
Data Deletion
If you would like all data I hold on you to be deleted, please submit a request to privacy@noblescott.co.uk. This will be undertaken within 28 working days of the date of the request.
